  • Edit Posts in BUY/SELL/TRADE?

Hello, I'd like to be able to edit posts in the BUY/SELL/TRADE though the edit feature seems to be disabled after a day. I was looking to be able to edit the listing to indicate SOLD etc. Is it possible to allow the author to edit their main post in this forum without time limit? or maybe 30-days? Thanks!

Unfortunately it is all or nothing with editing on the B/S/T forum, so since it has been a problem in the past with folks editing their requests after someone else asked for an item, it was decided the best solution was to end editing on that board. Apologies for the inconvenience, but it is that way for a reason.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

    Thank you for your understanding.

I get it and no worries. Unfortunately a few bad apples always ruin the fun for everyone else :-(.

      I appreciate the prompt response.

With my sale posts I simply note in a response who has bought something and if it is a larger listing - will offer a post from time to time listing all of the models that have been sold so others don't have to scan each response.

I won't go so far to say bad apples, perhaps a misunderstanding or having not read the rules. But if editing is not an option, it fixes that and puts everyone on equal footing.

Gotcha, makes sense. I can understand entirely. Thanks for the clarification.
