I was in the process of resizing some of my backdrops and thought this new Camaro find would look good. I don't know why, but this casting looks killer in person, but when greatly magnified doesn't look quite so exciting.

I am sure it is a popular casting for a Chevy dude, but I have never been impressed with any of these new Camaro castings of any brand. Not sire what it is, I am really not too familiar with many of the new cars but these Camaros have never appealed to me. This ZL-1 don't look a whole lot different from this one that came in a Pep Boys B.F. Goodrich dio set a good while back. I don't know, maybe it's just me turning into a grumpy ole "OLD" fart...LOL
This orange new style Camaro did catch my eye a good while back, but only because of the color and I needed a new Chevy to display with my modern Mopar and Mustang muscle.
As I look at the orange one, I can see more detail on the lighter color. Maybe that's it... But I still lean more towards the grumpy ole "OLD" fart side...LOL
But I fully understand what you say here "casting looks killer in person, but when greatly magnified doesn't look quite so exciting"... I also wonder why that is with a few of my cars also...
