I searched for the thread and was unable to find it but our gasoline prices are rising.
Today Summerville, South Carolina, USA 3.84 for super-unleaded.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.
All I know is like a year ago it cost me about $30 a week for gas, but even though my driving distances haven't changed, it now cost me $40 to $45 per week. That is $40 to $60 a month more I spend in gasoline.
If I remember right the price was $2.95 pg for 87, when I got gas this past weekend
I can't remember when we paid less that 4 bucks a gallon here. I have a receipt next to me from last August that reads $4.699/Gal. That's for 87 octane. Sure glad I don't work uptown anymore.
