  • SIKU Collector meeting in Schwerte (Germany)

Yesterday I was at the SIKU stock exchange in Schwerte (Germany - North Rhine-Westphalia).
In Europe it is probably the largest meeting of almost exclusively SIKU collectors and because of Corona it was not able to take place for a long time.
Normally there would be two collectors' meetings a year (spring and autumn) and earlier these meetings were organized by the * SSC * (Siku Sammler Club)
, but now the club is probably only involved.
I've been looking for some rare police models but haven't found that much new to add to my collection.
Nevertheless, exchanging ideas with other collectors and acquaintances was again very interesting.
I took some pictures of offers, maybe someone is interested here too.

What an incredible assortment of older Siku models. I saw a number of ambulances that would be tempting but not these days with the extra expense of new hearing aids and some other medical things not covered by insurance. But it sure is neat to see all those Siku models. Thanks for sharing them with us.

        Awesome!
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

        Thank you for your understanding.

The boxed items dating to the 1960s are highlights among highlights! Wowzers!

I'm very late to this thread, but that Siku event looks absolutely awesome! I wish I could go to something like this, but my wife would probably think it's best I can't go to something like this.

All "best" women think that it is better not to go there, but there are already a lot of beautiful Siku models to see AND to buy there! When the wallet is full AND the "best of all women" has just refilled her shoe cabinet, THEN is a good time! ...

Sounds like you've done this before

Growing up in Germany during the 90's, my mom got me a RAWE Siku guide for Christmas, and looking at it, I realized I missed out on all the good vintage stuff. I'm a huge Siku fan, and that Siku event is something I only fantasized about. I see it's located near Dortmund; we use to live near Frankfurt, not that far away. Is that event held there every year, same time?
