Wow!! That is a very rare find, and in mint condition with the package👍👍👍 I think it’s a really cool looking fire truck😊 The wheels sorta look like wheels for a Matchbox die cast, like the heavy haulers, or the Matchbox Disney busses they sell, Peter built rear mount ladder truck. The wheels almost look identical 😬

Nice one, I'd never seen it either, nor did I know any HWs were made in Italy.
It looks 1970's ish, is it that old?

Mebetoys, which Mattel bought were made in Italy. I know for several years, Mebetoys were branded as Hot Wheels after the purchase, and I'm sure this fire truck was one of those.

Thanks Cody, learned something new, it sounds like how it was when Mattel first got Corgi, although with Corgi I don't believe they even rebrand the bases at first, just the packaging.

                  Cody,

Like Douglas I was unaware of that Mattel purchased MeBetoys and that they sold their products under the Mattel name.

Thanks Cody, I was blanking out on the name of the Italian toy company that Mattel had bought and figured this was connected with. Like others - first time I have seen tis one!
