    First batch 2020 Matchbox has some sure-to-be hits for here & the Matchbox Bay

    The two police cars are in multiples (another DIFFERENT Ford than the one just last batch (the Taurus Interceptor)! Oh, and the BRAND NEW Caprice cop car in NYPD livery...). For us fire guys, and me in particular (Sammy too, prolly), the International Brush Fire Truck in a LICENSED livery again--LA County FD! (Plastic body, metal base.)

    Some pretty solid choices in this case, both emergency, and not. But, by far, the emergency vehicles are the star of it.

    And the brush truck is Squad 51! That's the cool part about it. But, why not the F-550? Years ago, the Pierce Dash was featured on a Tara Toys MBX case as a sort of generic Engine 51, but the livery looked old-school LACoFD. It never existed as an MBX, but would be really cool to go with the Squad. I would complain about no chrome and the plastic body, but it's a new licensed livery MBX has not yet used (but HW on two different times Rescue Ranger represented the D-300).


    I really like the Skybusters Air Force Base Interceptor. Generic livery, but super-creative. Will go pretty well in my aerodrome, which is predominately Skybusters.

      Saw pictures of this wave just last night, pretty stoked for the International Brush Rig in Los Angeles County graphics and the Squad 51 part is a nice little tip to “Emergency!”.

      Cody I thought the same thing that the Ford F550 would have been my first choice for LACoFD RS51 but I’m still still happy to see that it was done. The idea of the Pierce Dash marked for Engien 51 is great!

      The Caprice looks nice especially in NYPD colors. The old NYPD powder blue would have been killer graphics though.

      Im happy to seen the Taurus police car back as it’s a well done model. I watched the video with my boys, and my 11 year old stated, he needs an extra Taurus to try to strip the graphics off of to make a Connecticut State Police car. The majority of CSP cars are plain sliver Tauruses and Explorers with a removable Whalen light be on top.

        This batch has been showing up here, and I'm slowly piecing together the ones I want. So far I have everything but the NYPD Caprice and the Giulia, and I suspect those will be the hardest to find.

          Nice looking stuff from Matchbox, especially the emergency vehicles, looking forward to finding them.

            I hope you don't mind me posting some close-up photos here of the three:

            All are nice in their own way, but the fact that the Caprice debuted in NYPD colours makes it all the better. Plus it is only packed one per case, so I suspect that it'll be a harder one to find multiples of.

            I don't care too much for the plastic body, but the livery is a nice touch here:

            And the Taurus is a pleasant surprise as I am liking the livery a lot more than I thought I would. A wheel variation exists - either the ones seen below or the disc wheels.

              Thanks for sharing the close ups of the three emergency vehicles. So cool to see the LA County graphics on the fire engine and yeah - that NYPD Caprice will be a wonderful addition to the collection. Neat to see the Taurus/Interceptor make a return to the lineup as well.

                I think there are two Caprices per case, but only one LACoFD Brush truck. Plus 3 Interceptors.

                  Looks to be one Caprice, two Brush trucks and three interceptors per case, based on the Lamley video.

                    Don't like the plastic either, but the livery will be my main reason for me getting it this time.
