I was in Germany last week and found this promo model from Majorette in a supermarket there. The model was completely unknown to me.
For those who don't know, BVB (Ballspielverein Borussia) is a football club of the first German Bundesliga from the city of Dortmund. The number 09 refers to the founding year 1909.
At 6 euros, this BVB Opel Corsa is around three times as expensive as an ordinary version. Fans are asked to pay properly…
By the way, I didn't find it in the toy department, but in a special booth with fan articles for this club.
Some will remember, in 2003 there was a small series of Matchbox models for the Bundesliga called "Fan Edition". I dug out the Matchbox Smart from that series for a couple of companion pics.
