I've just loaded another batch of photo's, but upon checking the Home page 'Latest Topics' several Jada cars I added are not shown at all? Others I listed are shown. Just wondering what the problem is.?

The Jada thread that was posted in was started a while ago so it does not appear as a latest topic.
Starting a new thread shows up as a latest topic.

So any new photos added, Nobody will see unless they are specifcally looking for Jada cars.? Doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

New posts will be seen by clicking the new topics button when ever any new post is made to an existing thread or
a new thread is started. Entries made in the data base are more for those who are searching for those specific models.

You're not getting what i'm saying. These cars are all individually listed, but because they are under Jada (or any other Obscure brand listing) ...Nobody knows additional cars are listed as they are bundled together ...There is No New Topics listing for each car added.
Like the topic of Unidentified cars. You were told to list any additional cars Individually as a New Topic, otherwise they would be lost & Not seen by anyone. That's fine, but that Cannot be done on the Obscure brands listings.So All new additions are Not seen.
My point is, anyone adding cars to the Obscure Brands listings is Not getting their cars seen by anyone, except those especially looking for a certain brand.
I'm spending my time adding photos to the Obscure Brands Database which nobody will see that I have just listed.Comment

For me the point of this site is for sharing my toy cars and experiences and also enjoying others.
If my posts go unseen or not commented on thats ok too. I dont see the importance of recognition.

The New Topics is for brand new threads, not new posts.
The Database, as the name implies, is a reference resource. Folks who go looking will find what is posted.
The main boards are the post of the day "look at me!" type posts.
So we accomodate both the folks that want to show off their collections, and those who wish to document for future reference. But the New Topics feature is hardwired into the site, that is from vBulletin, not anything the staff here set up - meaning we can't do anything to change that.The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)
