Here's another one of those weird, wild and wonderful crossovers. After the Universal Group acquired Matchbox, they bought rights to the Kenner Fast Ones (presumably, as that line ended) and rolled 4 of the Kenner models into the Matchbox line. This Mustang is one of those 4. The final appearance of this model was at the cusp of Mattel acquiring Matchbox in 1997.

The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

I remember some of the conversations about these Kenner/Matchbox models in Matchbox USA as well as the old MCCH forum. Most of the time they were educational in the history of the various models but seem to also recall a few "heated" conversations about these models.
