I never ever seem to get tired of admiring these early release AWs. It was those days when going out on the hunt was exciting. Finding all the variations of the 64 Ford Galaxie 500 was a major plus for me. The only casting done at that time was the HW casting that sat real low and had the bubble hood. Almost my entire family, grandpas, grannys, aunts, uncles, and a few older cousins all bought new Ford Galaxies that year. All except 1 uncle who bought a new 427 Ford Thunderbolt. I was only 10 years old at that time, but I remember the parking lot at our family reunion looking like a Ford dealership...LOL
