  • Photo sharing sites????

Can anyone recommend a good, simple and easy to use photo sharing site something like photobucket used to be.
Photobucket became a joke and very complicated to navigate. I have tried since 2018 to get it straightened out, but you can never reach anyone. They keep wanting credit card numbers for all these different plans and even a dollar to answer your questions!!!

Trying an experiment with one called "Shoot Proof"

Yes, One dollar... I ask how to reactivate my account and she connected me to a computer tech. They wanted my account info to charge me a buck to answer my question...

I dropped photo bucket years ago. Way too much hassle. I used Flickr for a while, but now find I don't need any hosting site. I just take the pics on my phone, air drop them to my computer & post them straight to sites when I need to. A lot less complicated.

imgur has worked for the past few years for me without the monetization shenanigans, but has gotten worse recently. They seem to be trying to become a social media site rather than a photo hoster. It still works fine, but I'm worried it's one big update away from becoming a pain to use.

                How to you do that?
I basically do the same with my camera. I put photos in a file and copy and paste them here. They show up for awhile, but then disappear...
Photo bucket used to give tou several codes for each photo, to use in email or posting here. I don't see those anymore with any site...

That's why I dropped IMGUR and then started paying for Flickr. But as of late; I just resize my images to 900x in Paint, and then upload them directly to here.

I am not sure why your pics only show up for a while. I haven't had that problem.

I've used Imageshack for ages without any problems.

The ONLY pics uploaded to this site that were deleted are the ones that were OVERSIZE. Read my sig line!!!!
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

                          Thank you for your understanding.

I post Bird Pictures at Imgur for free but as mentioned before they have become highly political but it's free and works for me. The best thing is to buy yourself an editing program and download your pictures here. If I can do it anyone should be able to accomplish the feat. I use Adobe Elements 2018 or 2019 one of the smartest purchases ever.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

I used postimg, but trying to move away from using websites so I usually just resize and upload directly to here now.
