It's the latest, or at least the latest I found anyway. From the series that is $1.27 at WMs, they also had the Subaru Brat in red from the series, but decided only on this Jeep pu.

I've always liked the Scrambler casting. Will probably pick one up if I see it and it's new...(what's the copyright date on the back of the card?....the card art looks familiar to me, but it's too cold to go out to the garage and check my HW tub(s) to see if maybe it's older than this fall...)

According to South Texas Diecast, the Scrambler casting seems to have had three phases of life.
Introduced in 1983 as part of the Real Riders series (with RR's until 1986, and hard plastic tires through 1988, when it disappeared from use.)
Then, in 1997 it returned as the "Trailbuster" with some slight changes to the grille and tailgate to erase some of the Jeep trademarks (that is what this one is).
The third version is the all-new casting that debuted in 2009, which the "dirty tires" version above is based on.
Upon close review I was surprised to see the Trailbuster was made in India.

Also has the Hot Wheels logo on the right rear fender
