This time, the image is a compact monthly parking lot. Newly added signboards. The car stopper is reproduced by printing, but it is also included with other parts, so please glue it as you like. There are 10 parking spaces.

    * This is not a reproduction of an actual store.

I guess it should, since it is the same building that was used for a number of previous releases, including gas stations and mechanics garages. It's a very generic layout that has a lot of possible functions.

I would like to see Tomytec expand the Tomicarama range, and do something more like some of these... (I think they are all 1/150)

I mean, the picture is from may 2018. I dont understand, why they didnt make more diorama. I think, no licence taxes and simple in production. If i see the store prices, it must be a money machine for Tomytec. It gives so few good diorama in 1/64.

These buildings and such look really well done, it'd be neat to have a group of the parking lots lined up on a shelf to display Tomica models, and other brands as well.

That is my eventual goal, if I ever get around to it.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: To anyone thinking of displaying cars on one of the Tomicarama car lots, garages, or parking lots, be aware there have been reports of adverse interactions between the tires and diorama bases.... tires melting into the plastic syndrome. Do not keep cars parked on these dioramas for extended periods of time.

Stuff like that would be awesome for photography, especially if you wire the garage for lights.

More accessory packs would be nice, Sell them at the regular price of 1 TLV car as long as they aren't limited. Definitely people packs based on specific eras of time in japan would be useful, maybe even sets to allow for extensions to existing dioramas would be useful also.

With that warning, I guess it doesn't sound like a good idea to display models.....Wonder if the issues were with soft tires, or the hard plastic ones like on regular Tomica, or maybe both.

I guess you could 'rotate' the cars parked on the display/diorama to avoid this...but how long can a 'car' sit on its tires before the damage is done? It's a problem that's been identified in relation to other surfaces commonly sold for car dioramas. So it's not just the Tomica dioramas...I have to physically lift some of my displayed vehicles off the material the rack/display sold/distributed by various hobby shops and kitchen stores, but remembering to go 'touch' your displays periodically is a heady task.

It would be cool if they did some houses.

ACk! You mean I didn't update this.....

                          Here is a picture.

It is the same model as the Yokohama tire shop (and all the previous buildings), but different colors and signage.

                          ● Dimensions when assembled: Approx. 235mm (horizontal) x 236mm (vertical)
-Many parts, labels, etc. are included!

New specifications added to Tomicarama Vintage Tire Shop! Introducing the "Bridgestone" color. In addition to the "Keystone mark", the logos that resemble the car shop of the past were reproduced as much as possible. It is also ideal for combination with the LV-185c Porter Cab (Bridgestone) released in the same month, so please enjoy the scenery with cars.

The tire shop looks good. The TLV would probably be ridiculously expensive, but I had some inspiration for my next diorama piece.

Atleast you do get pretty good accessories, so there's that, How much do 1:87 diorama buildings cost usually? As in good ones.

I paid around NZ$140 after tax for the Yokohama one, Pricey but not insane.
