  • 1/64 Motorcycles by Micro Machines/Galoob

I had some Visa Gift Card money to burn, so decided on these more or less true 1/64 classic motorcycles to add some two-wheelers to my diorama & collection.

Among others, a 1950s era European motorcycle, a Harley knucklehead or panhead, a full-dress cruiser, two sportbikes, and a Harley police motorcycle are my favorites.

I'll have better pics to show the scale and detail of these once they arrive from Peoria, IL via Evilbay.

Those are really nice. Great details for being so small.

I think these might almost fit HO scale cause of their sizes
      I have a few myself

Wow - I was not aware that Micro Machines had made a series of motorcycles. My son was into Micros and he had a ton of them but wondering if these might have come out after his interests went to other things.

They did, quite a few actually. Kenner also made a series of 1/60ish scale Harleys in the early 90s, and the BMW Isetta that Micro Machines made (had one, sadly my father tossed it out years ago, hoping to get me a new one someday) is actually close to true 1/64, seeing as how an Isetta is barely bigger than a motor trike or sidecar rig.

You could work them into an HO dio, I'm sure

Nice collections! Those would have been truer to use with the 3 inch diecast, rather than what the 3 inch companies typically give us in bikes, which are more in the 1/40-something scale range, and often way too big for the cars.

Got my Micro Machines motorcycles in the mail a day early. I'm quite impressed, the scale, detailing and everything aren't terrible, and the way these are 30 year old toys and tiny ones at that, with incredible details, is amazing.
Here are some pics of bikes with cars/trucks and bikes with a US quarter coin for comparison, along with the group shots of the bikes all together.

Thanks! I thought they were worthy as well. The 70s CHP lookalike Harley and the blue BMW R26 are by far my favorites

                            Very Cool

I have been using them for years on my Dios + a few other brands

They are closer to HO scale like microbus & others said

These 2 choppers in the 1st pic below with a Red Micro Machines Road Bike where purchased in a No name 5 pack of bikes
Same scale & the riders fit perfectly , I still have a carded set that I will try to take a pic of
The other choppers come in a set from Woodland Scenics ( Bad Boy Bikers )
