Nice group of Saviem trucks Douglas. One of the great side benefits of collecting is adding vehicle brands one has never heard of. When I started adding the Saviem trucks from Majorette i had to do a bit of research into the brand. I always liked the tanker trucks with the metal cab and tank! Do you know, is the AVIA tanker a promo issue?

John, I don't know much about what could be a promo or not when it comes to Majorette, I picked up that AVIA tanker loose at a flea market some years ago, it shows a bit of playwear too, so it wasn't just kept on a shelf during its life. I think that Chalet building dates back to the old Bernard cab days, on a similar Bernard truck, and they just carried it on when they made the Saviem cab.Originally posted by atombaum View PostDougComment
