    It is getting annoying.

    from another post here i tried all the fix it ideas and none worked..now there are 3 pages of sent pms i would like to get rid of.

    i had an idea to go to the sent pms and created a "not able to delete file"..just to have a place to get them out of the way.

    but there is no option to move sent msgs to the file i carated.

    but if you go to the received section you can move msgs to files you have created.

    I know from the other post on this subject this problem most likely will not be corrected. i am just venting a little.

      I cannot blame you i have not had issues but i believe it everybody has something to anger them and need to vent i nearly vented here but with the way i vent i would automatically be banned

          I took a few minutes to play around a little, Dan. Looks like you have to open the message, then at the top are the options to delete or move to a different file. So unless that is an admin thing (which is possible for me), give that a try. Checking the boxes on the message list doesn't seem to do anything.

              Just tried again with my practice account and the same options are there, so it should work for you as well unless there is some setting for your account disabling that function that I don't know about.

                  Wes,i am not sure what occured.when i went to my sent file all the msgs i had been trying to delete are gone..some sort of delayed action?

                  i will see what happens in the future and try your way..thanks for the info.

                              Do they stay out of sight if you move them to the trash?

                                  no.when i try to move them to trash.it says that they are deleted.but they stay right there in the sent section.

                                      Dan, when you delete something, does it appear in the TRASH folder?

                                      Have you tried the "Delete Permanently" button located in the Trash folder?

                                      Make sure to also check-off the box next to the messages.

                                          I just sent a msg to Mike..then i deleted it from the sent file.then i permanently deleted it.it is gone..

                                          hopefully it will stay working for me..

                                                  Mike,sorry about the delay in replying..i deleted your reply and then emptied the trash and it stayed gone.
                                                  is seems the problem has disappeared again..hopefully it will stay gone.
