Renwal--same company originally responsible for the clear scale models of people and animals with visible internal organs--correct?

A little too short, while being too narrow at the same time--but I kinda like it!

    Very interesting!

Certain Renwal castings--metal and plastic--were sold as loads for operating railway cars by the A.C Gilbert company in the late '40s, '50s and early '60s. They are in high demand among American Flyer S gauge collectors.

But when I see the name "Renwall", I think of the 1/4 scale "Visible V-8" model kit from my childhood. (Yup, still got it.)

    Renwal 55 Ford Convertible

Renwal was very well known for their plastic cars, so when I found this I was very much surprised. Clearly it won't win beauty pageants today, the technology has come so very far since this was made in the middle 1950s.
