  • London's Calling

Hi, I'm Steve, a lot of you will already know me as 'Motorcade' from Hobby Talk & 'Punisher1' from Swifty's. Also have been around since the days of Tales of Toy Cars, Majobase & many other long forgotten (& missed) diecast car sites. I've been collecting over 50 years & have been photographing my cars for 20 years.
Please note - Quality & small size of my old photos are from an old webcam. More recent larger photos are from my mobile phone.

Hi Steve, You've posted a nice selection of uncommon cars! Seeing the orange SIKU Lincoln Continental actually makes me feel melancholy because I bought one for $5 circa 1984, new old stock, mint in the box, but misplaced it somewhere. It was larger than 1/64 scale, so I didn't like it as much, but I see the equivalent selling for $250! Shame on me! Regardless, I especially love the "off brands" from companies other than Matchbox, Hot Wheels, or Corgi and Majorette. These models are often overlooked and "discovered" years later by collectors.

I collect what I like, and I like what I collect.

Enjoy your many contributions to the garage (and other sites you have been a part of). I, too, had one of those orange Siku Lincoln Continental's in my collection (a bit used) and through the many moments of downsizing sent it on to another garage.

              Cheers. Cobra
