  • Some interesting cars you folks have!
This is my '98 Ford Ranger XLT. This truck has been a really good vehicle for me. It's got 136,000 it now, and it still doesn't burn a drop of oil. Nothing fancy, but it's a good, reliable truck.

    • Super nice green on your Ranger. Been thinking of going to a dark green when I paint my Crown Vic.

Thanks. The color is Deep Emerald Green. It does have a nice "pearly" look to it.

Cost me 75 euros in parts. Still needs a set of wheels as there's 15" in back and 16" in front now.

Probably the most boring car in this topic but it's been most car with least money i've ever owned. I paid 250 euros for it in fall 2018. I've changed oil and filter couple of times and EGR valve had to be replaced but other than that it has been just smooth 45 000km ride if you don't count the bumps i've caused.

          • Looks good........and a bargain to fix. Can't go wrong there. I love cheap cars. Heck, my Crown Vic cost me $500 and my 99 Mustang was $700.

It certainly doesn't look that old, but In Florida you'd be able to register it as an antique when it is just 30 years old.
Actually it's same age as my eldest daughter now Thank you for appreciating the works done, I've been working on it the past four years, there's still more room for growth if I opt for more power, nothing more visually I prefer the sleeper looks.

                    • Decided on a color for my blah silver 96 Vic.... Eastwood paint Catalina Green Metallic.

Since greens and blues are favorite colors of mine, I'd have to say you made a great choice, and I do really think it'll look good on the CV.

Thanks Doug, it was a toss up between 3 greens that Eastwood makes and this one just seem to be right, not to light or to dark.

                            • My daily driver...a 2009 Ford Fusion SE. 235,000 miles and it is still in decent shape for its age. It has gone places that no four-door passenger car should go, drove away from a five-car wreck with no major damage, and has been on more road trips than I can count. What a great car.
