Saw a Cimmarron just the other day. Sadly wrecked in the front sitting in front of a camper trailer. Hope the owner finds a way to fix it. The rest of the body looks decent for a Midwest car.

Damn! Any photos? I'd like to see how bad it is.

Oldie but goodie. 1985 Volvo "DL" four-door, manual w/ OD. Purchased new at Gulliver Motors in Hamilton, Ontario. Favorable exchange rate! Sold a couple years later.

I love the old Red Block 240's. I had a '92 sedan in blue-green metallic. I loved it but the previous owner couldn't have cared any more less. Lasted me only a few years. Sold it on to someone that fixed it up and sold it off.

That last incarnation of the 240 was the best (1986 - 1992). I think my favorite color was that blue-green you showed. Had a dark blue '89 and loved it. Racked up the miles in that one. Bought w/ ~92k mi, and sold w/ 263k mi. Didn't leak or burn a drop of oil. Really hated getting rid of it. The young woman who bought it kept saying on the test drive, "I love this car, I love this car", so I think it went to a good home.

I still really miss mine. At times when I see something that reminds me of it, I have an urge to get another. Yours looked really good with those fogs.

Thank you. Had them installed at the dealership, and the OEM dash switch fit right into an empty slot in the console below the radio area. The rocker switch was illuminated green. Really looked cool when all the switches were on as each one was a different color. Heated seats were sort of yellow, foggies were green, rear fog lights were another color, and you had to find a reason to use the hazard warning switch just to get the full effect. They looked and felt substantial. May have been more, don't recall. Looked awesome. You're right - I just saw a white 240DL 4-door today, and thought about going over and leaving a note, "call me if you ever want to sell." These were fantastic motor carriages.
