So what would a retired farmer with lots of spare cash do with his vintage 1970 GMC grain truck? Maybe ditch the grain section for a custom oversized pickup bed! Toss on chrome rims with raised white letter goodyear tire with a shiny paint job and this might be it. This is from Auto-Trucks Release #63. My dad had a '75 era GMC 1500 with pretty much the same two tone paint job when I was a young tike in the late 1980s. That's partially why I'm fond of this release.

Very nice! I have a couple of these fun castings even though I don’t consider myself a “Truck Guy”. The green is very decade-appropriate.

Great pics! I picked up this one too! My parents had a black '76 Chevrolet Silverado with a big camper when I was little.

This truck makes perfect sense now that you explained it.

I collect what I like, and I like what I collect.
