    New 9-Packs

    Two new 9-Packs showed up in my area - the first ones for 2021. I recall our very own David Tilley saying that aside from the marked exclusive, there are other models that are exclusive to the 9-Pack. Looks like the Insight and Pit King are the ones in this pair, although the Dune Dog might be...

    Very tempted to get the pack for the Insight, because it's been a long time since we've seen it:

    Yes the new pack contents for 2021 are as follows. 6 batches of packs. Each batch contains 2 packs in it. Batch A is the Land Rover/Cadillac CTS packs. Those 2 models are the exclusives for those packs and will only be in 1. The other 8 models will consist of 5 models randomly pulled from singles/5-packs and 3 semi-exclusives. These semi-exclusives will only appear in the batch. Therefore both CTS and Land Rover packs will contain a Dune dog, Glass King and Honda Insight which will only be in these 2 packs. Batch B will be out soon and will contain 2 exclusives again which will be marked as only being in a single pack. But Dune Dog, Glass King and Honda Insight will not be there. They are in both packs of batch A. Both packs of batch B will contain a Ford Panel Van, Two Storey Bus (which I might rather like the look of) and a Rock Shocker. The last one was tentatively marked down as a '79 Corvette T-top, but has been switched to a different model. Batch C will feature 2 more exclusives in 1 pack, and 3 models found in the pair and so on.

      Nice Terence! Did you end up buying them? It looks like you would have TWO of the Insight if you bought both

      Glad to see these showing up around North America!

      I'm REALLY hoping my Walmart will add 9-packs on the next reset, which will be anytime this month!

              Oh yeah, I might have to get that Land Rover set, not only for that LR which looks pretty nice, but I like the Dune Dog casting, and the Glass King, and don't remember seeing either in the last year or more, but then it also has that police car from a 5pk I didn't buy, and that was my main desire from the 5pk, and even considered hard getting that 4x4 PU as a single, but ended up putting it back, so this set has a number of models I'd be happy with having. 😃

                David, thanks for clarifying the mix of vehicles in each of the packs. Though this means that I now have a decision to make....

                I haven't bought any of them yet but I am seriously thinking about it. Not sure which one -the CTS or the Land Rover - I prefer since they're both nice in their own right.

                  The bottom pack is tempting. I have, for once, NONE of the models in it. But, the fact that the other two exclusives are exclusive to 9-packs, but not exclusive to each pack means repeats no one wanted. My main problem with 9-packs is choosing undesirable models, and repeating models between packs; as opposed to choosing models that are, like the one-per-case options no one seems to be able to find. While the LEVC taxi is one of my personal favorites, like the SLO Ford F-550, I don't understand why it's such a bad pegwarmer.

                  Curious, is the Land Rover Search and Rescue related? That sure looks like a UK EMS Battenburg down the side.

                      Probably the biggest reason is because I don't believe it has an interior, which explains the blacked-out windows. They are SUPER peg warming here...

                        It's not in the UK. At least not where I am. I guess we are a better market for it. A number of very USA models pegwarm in the UK (or should I say tub warm as they are just thrown in tubs). The Powell Pick-up is a very bad seller in the UK near me.

                          That's interesting! The Powell Pickup here is SUPER hard to find!

                          There's probably at least 10 or 15 of those LEVC Taxi's on the pegs here right now...

                            Same here, last time at walmart, there were 8 or more on the pegs.
                            If it isn't a NASCAR diecast, chances are, I won't get it.

                              Too bad shipping Internationally is so expensive. If not, we could just send them all to the UK where they'd sell like hot cakes
