ID:	216595hello I just got these of eBay can someone tell me what real vehicles they are based on? The yellow one looks like a GMC Brigadier of the late 70s.

The blue milk tanker my collectors guide calls a Ford Tanker, #245

The semi dump truck in my guide is what I believe to be #314, Dump Truck (generic), but I found it referred to on the internet as a GMC cab, so maybe your thoughts on it are correct.

I had both of those at one time in my collection and that is how I had them listed.

I have always though the yellow one is a GMC Brigadier.

I have the blue milk truck in my collection, but not the trailer.

The GMC comes in a variety of colours

Curious: Does the second trailer connect to the main milk truck?

Oh yes, welcome to the Diecast Garage, "ALF"! What kinds of models do you collect?

Thanks for all you interest . Bob-lo yes the trailer does hook up perfectly though the base is painted white and the Ford base is blue. Looks like these are the the inspiration for the casts late 70s Ford 6000 cargo and GMC brigadier/Chevy Bruin. Click image for larger version

Yes, the trailer connected to the truck - they were sold as part of the Majorette 300 series.
