Modern Husky's

I vaguely remember reading about these (probably on another forum long gone like MCCH). I know they were bigger than the old Husky models and thinking there was no connection other than the name - since the original Husky models were part of the Corgi family. The ambulance is really neat looking -

I was looking for the ambulance there for a few months, then forgot about it. It's by far, the best looking piece of the set.
Corgi really could use a good "toy-grade" line. Chunkies are ugly, Corgi Toys had some great 3" stuff, but was not widely available in the States. They do have a decently priced military line, about the detail level of Heroes Under Fire--been meaning to pick up the Jeep.

I always had this suspicion that after Mattel acquired Corgi, and sold the name to employees or whoever purchased it, that part of the contract might have been that they can't sell toy cars in the US, I don't know if they did, but I just had never seen Corgi's sold here since.Doug

Got an email from Hornby this morning (I subscribe to the newsletter of the UK site), and noticed Corgi has the engine listed in the 2020 "pre-order" list as a part of their sort of toy-grade (but some are similar detail level to ranges such as Fire Heroes, so not really toys) Best of British range. And in the exact same tampo scheme you show. Thus, I think Corgi actually owns this tooling. I'm hoping they release the LDV ambulance soon, too. This one's listed as "Spring 2020".

Yet, when I go through the "New for 2020" page, it works, with the exact same web address I used.
Anyway, here's the photo the listing used. Same everything as your Husky. I did manage to get that to work just fine.
