Auro Metal - Made in Yugoslawia

The car´s name is Zastava / Yugo 45 . It´s in the color from the police in old Yugoslavia *MILICIJA*. The car is metal and 3-inch size.
The country Yugoslavia is gone and the car´s maker Yugo (Zastava) also. The car is from the 80th.
On the Card is the label *METALBOX* from Hungary, but on the plate is writen *Made in Yugoslawia* and *Auto Metal*.
I think the car is made in Yugoslavia and the packing is from Hungary.
Please see the pictures for the brand * AURO METAL * on base from this car :

                  Zastava Jugo 45.
"Zastava" is a firm, like "Volkswagen" and "Jugo" is model, like "Golf".
It's made in "Zavodi Crvena zastava", Kragujevac, ex Yugoslavia, today Serbia. It is developed between 1978 and 1980, from FIAT 127, in cooperation with FIAT. Working title was "Zastava 102", according to intention for replacing older Zastava's model "Zastava 101", which was based and developed from FIAT 128, and "Zastava 750", which is based on FIAT 600. First car made at year 1980.
Through time, Jugo is renamed in Yugo, for export purpose. Originally engine was FIAT 903 ccm, which developed 45 PS and that number gave a type name "Jugo 45". Later, Jugo are redesigned, get stronger engines, with 55, 60 and 65 PS and name are changed to "Yugo Koral".

Aurometal is a firm from Subotica, ex Yugoslavia, today Serbia, too. At first, they made plastic flowers, fishing equipment, brass tables, badges, chess tables with figures, cups and medals. In mid '80's they made that Yugo model car. It's approx. 1:50, in my estimate; never comparisaed it's size to real car. As child, I like match it up with Majorette Golf I, they were same size (and real Golf I is quite bigger than Jugo). Original Aurometal's Yugo models had metal baseplate. I heard rummors that first models have different interior (command table), but never saw those ones... I get my first Aurometal Yugo at 1989, packing in oval plastic tube with mate black cardboard and that was special issue. Than, it costs cca 3,5 DEM.

Later, that Yugo made in Hungary and packed in those Metalbox packaging. For difference to original Aurometal's Yugo, this Metalbox Yugos have plastic baseplates, but inscription "Yugo Aurometal" and "Made in Yugoslavia" still exist. According to my memory, original Aurometal's Yugo had much better suspension, than those Hungarians models.
