I like it here. This morning, I went to the "Johnny Lightning" forum and got right to it without sorting through five or six sub forums. You can't do that at another place and though you could at Swifty's, it's dead. Like I said, I like this place. Please don't change it.

Swifty's was truly a great place before the Tapatalk scourge. Fortunately we have tech-savvy people in the diecast community who could put this site together to carry on the Swifty way.
BRAVO tech-savvy people!Bert sez...

I'm grateful to Wesley what if he didn't take measures to make this happen? He is worthy and I appreciate his board.Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)
Thank you for your understanding.

I've been here since day 2 testing and trying out things with mobile. Got promoted to Admin and after that i've been tinkering with the site settings and stuff that doesn't show but improves the useability.
I want to thank Wes for starting this site and trusting me this position.
Skwerl for doing the tech savvy stuff that I have no clue about.
Rest of the staff for their work in here.
All the members of the site who have joined. Without you there wouldn't be a site.
Thank you!

Thank you Skwerl, Random, and Wes for getting this site up and running; tweaking and improving it as we progress.
It kind of takes you back about five or ten years ago when Swifty's Garage was the go-to small diecast site (or anytime before Tapatalk)
.
Wes; I would personally like to thank you for all the information and work that you put into the old Swifty's Garage.
I LIKE OUR NEW ONE!
Fantastic!
Cheers. Cobra

Wes, Skwerl, et al... you really have done some amazing work to get us back on track. The fact that we have all jumped in from where we left off before things got stupid thanks to TapaTalk is a testament to all of your hard work. I just hope Sean sees his legacy is alive and well and someday feels as at home here as we already do. Thank you!!!
