Just a little coincidental comparison of a couple of fabled Italian brandsThe image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

nice pair..is the one w/24 an older more detailed casting? -
Nice - I had the one with the yellow wheels and rubber tires at one time in my collection - first time I have seen the one with the racing numbers and detailed headlight area. Guess with the "speed wheels" this one might been issued about the time of Hot Wheels, etc.

On the left is the Mercury Speedy, on the right is the Polistil Penny. I know enough to get in trouble...my best guess is the Penny dates to the second half of the 1960s, the Speedy dates to the early 1970s.The image file limits have been reset.
