  • $1 Hot Wheels ID cars at Dollar Tree.

Dont know if this is old news or not but wanted to pass it on. My local Dollar Tree has the HWs ID cars there for a buck!

I picked up a Dodge Charger and Mercedes the other day.

    Thanks, Toby

Are these the carded ones or the boxed ones? Carded ones come in mainline cases.

Wow I guess I'll be making a trip over there! Where in the store are they? Right by the regular Hot Wheels? In that aisle?

Yep, they were just below the pegs on a shelf. Funny thing is there were only like 2 HWs on the peg.

I am surprised that these $7.00 cars are now going for clearance prices at Dollar Tree.
Have they not been selling well at regular retail?

I believe they are actually about $5 (at least at Target).

I don't think Dollar Tree knows the value, because in that store, EVERYTHING'S A DOLLAR!!!

That is surprising! The only place I've seen the boxed ID cars is Target, at about $5, and found carded cars with the mainlines for $1 at Dollar General. I'll have to hit up the local Dollar Trees and see what they have. I wonder if Family Dollar will get some in since they're owned by Dollar Tree. The local FD has a few sections of DT price tags, including the toy aisle.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Well if I could go out and check out Dollar Tree I think I would just to see if they would have the ID police car on their pegs at that price but my quarantine goes until the 27th. It is surprising that these would already be in a store like Dollar Tree but they are also one of the ones in my area that occasionally get the Matchbox power grab boxes as well - or least they did back at Easter time.

What is the name of the store that still gets Power Grabs?

It was one of the Dollar Trees in Bismarck but that was last spring and haven't seen them anywhere sense then in my area.

Checked the two DTs in my area this weekend, but no luck for me in diecast of any sort, let alone finding the ID cars, though I did see a few of the boxed ones scattered around at Ross next door to one of the DTs, believe they were priced $3.99 there.
