  • Tennessee, Y'all!

Hey, y'all. I'm Ole Dave, aka "Mr. Motivations", from "Deep Woods", TN. When the dogs and I can't get outdoors for long, I spend time living my 14 year old life, working with diecast dioramas, etc. This community seems like a fun place to visit.
    Cheers!!

Welcome to the Garage Ole Dave/Mr. Motivations! Looks like a nice area where you live - look forward to hearing about and seeing pictures of your dioramas and collection, I live in what we fondly call the North Dakota Outback.

        Welcome you are among friends.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

          Welcome aboard!
The image file limits have been reset. We have over-limit warnings for the past 3 months and I've had to lower the image file limits. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I know I've mentioned many times before, but it is very important to downsize images - doesn't matter if they are hosted elsewhere or here. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The new limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

          Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks, Daniel, I've read several of your posts already. Hope you get the power restored soon. It goes out here in the country regularly😁

Yup - I am 136 miles from the Montana border and 41 miles from the South Dakota border. So, yes - close!

Welcome to the Garage Ole Dave. Diecast dioramas are a fun hobby, did a couple small ones years ago, only wish I had more time and concentration for them again. Would love to see some of yours when you find your way around the site.
                        And again, Welcome !

Very well said, Doug. I have too much ego to bomb out on my first post, so, yes, I'm reading. Dioramas are indeed time consuming, but combine some model assembly with set design and photography, a form of eclectic which I can bring from my youth into my "oldth"..πŸš” 🐩🐢(Our dogs-Cop car from my years in criminal "justice"..)
