          Great model, I have a few Fire Chief versions like that and another chief’s buggy version also. I had a fleet of the various fire and police versions of that car as a kid!

            That's what's special about HWs, even though they often did and still do many wild fantasy and hot rod models, they have offered plenty of great real life everyday vehicles through the years.

              LOTS of fun variations with this casting including wheel, interior, base, tampo. I'm finding several base variations that I feel are significant that just aren't listed in books and many sites. Some cars have HOT WHEELS spelled out, others have the logo, some say "SHERRIFF" (sic) on the base.

              Here's the same one Motorcade shows with a white 5 on the door.
