Go to your Scene dial and choose the food setting. I have it on my Nikon P830 and it takes pictures of the diecast as it really looks. I left a link for you that might help. A lot of times You Tube can help also. Just put in your camera Nikon D5100 and I'm sure you will come up with a step for step. Hope this helps.Due to the recent budget cuts,

If you want to call me let me know. I have two Nikons and I'm sure our dials on the camera are very similar. I personally know there is a tint button too but actually holding the camera in my hand would be more beneficial to help you.Due to the recent budget cuts,
