There are many Corgi castings you all have posted I have never seen. Corgis were very scarce at those times while about every retail store carried Lesney Matchbox cars. That is what my focus was on. Once in awhile you would see a Corgi or two on the pegs od a Gray Drug store that has been long out of business, or a Woolworths store, also long out of business...

Same here. Lesney was the main focus in the local toy/grocery/drug stores. There was a stationery store in Rochester, NY called Scrantoms, and they had a "collectible toy" section in the basement (mostly Models of Yesteryear and 1/43 stuff like Corgi - perhaps Dinky), but never spent any money there. One kid brought either the Corgi Green Hornet or Batmobile on the bus one time. It looked big and expensive compared to Matchbox. That's all I remember.- Jeff
