Can't Access Some Threads

    Can't Access Some Threads

    I keep trying to access the "Random First Responder Selection" thread over in the Apparatus Bay, but can't. My PCs and smartphone will take forever to attempt to load it, and then time out without loading the page. However, the thread loads just fine when I'm logged out.

    So, what's the problem? Is it on my end?

    Just tried it and it loaded fine for me, but I guess that doesn't mean there wouldn't be a glitch in the system. I do sometimes get slowdowns or freezing during or just after Microsoft updates my laptop, but that usually goes away when they're done.

      Came right up for me, old thead, new thread, my thread, others' thread...all worked
      The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

        I've actually had the same issue...but what I've noticed is that the website is displaying all the posts as one page, instead of dividing them up into however many constitutes a page normally. I've tried different themes, and browsers, but like Cody, the issue happens when I'm logged in.

          There is various options of showing the number of posts per page in the settings under conversation detail options.
          I chose 10 posts per page without any problems. Maybe try that ...

            Thanks for that idea. I did it, and it now works just fine, both the thread I mentioned and the Random Thread over in Off-Topic--both threads I could not access before.

              bison1913 was having similar problems, unfortunately he has not signed on
              since May to see this solution. Glad it worked out for you Cody.
