I don't know if others experience this or just me, but is there something I can adjust to stay logged in longer, seems like I get logged out every 10 minutes or so if I'm not actively flipping through pages or something, which is kind of a problem since it sometimes takes me awhile to compose a post I'm writing, or to add photos to a post, or even just looking through the replies on a page in the thread, and I guess this is not recognized as activity., so I'm logged out over and over again....any help is appreciated, thanks,

Ticking the ‘Remember Me’ box when you login should stop this.
Try logging out, then go to the home page https://www.diecastgarage.org and log in, ticking the remember me.
i think if you log back in while on a different page it doesn’t remember you, so make sure you go to the home page.

Picture posting question: Whenever I post a pic, the picture(s) show up fine in my posting, but there's also pics that show up at the bottom of my post that says "Attached files". There's no need for them to appear there in my opinion, so is there a setting I need to do to make them not appear? I load my pics directly from my computer, no hosting site involved. You can see an example in my latest post "Pumpkin Cars" in the matchbox forum. Thanks"Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted." - R. Pausch

Usually those that have no size set will show up like you said.

How are you adding photos?
Try following the overly simplified steps illustrated below.
#1 select UPLOAD ATTACHMENTS
#2 a new 'box' opens below the text box. Select "upload attachments" if using a photo from your hard drive.
#3 select a size when you insert it into the text box. Make sure to click in the text box first to place your photo in the proper location you desire.

EDIT - FYI, I don't know if my method is a better way or not, but it's what's been working for me.Last edited by toyotageek; 10-31-2019, 09:50 AM.I collect what I like, and I like what I collect.

EDIT - FYI, I don't know if my method is a better way or not, but it's what's been working for me.The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)
Thank you for your understanding.

Keep getting this when clicking on my notifications. And I'm logged in. Could this be Firefox related? I've been getting a lot of weird bugs with it as of late. I got a new computer, and while I typically use Chrome, I have no intention of installing it on this PC.

I just took a look at your profile on the control panel and I don't see anything changed. I'll run it by Skwerl and see if she sees anything. The image file limits have been reset. Kind of a strange question, but I was wondering if I could get a digital copy of the "avatar" for the website... like the little image you get when you save the website as a favorite. I us an app to track things like passwords, important private info, etc, and each has a little image and I would like to use the one for this site.
