Hello from an enthusiastic Real Types collector here in Canada. Lindsey asked me to reply to your post and I'm pleased to do so.
This Chrysler Imperial was cast in Canada by Burslem Industries in Rexdale (a suburb of Toronto) Ontario Canada around 1960. It was commonly dark green with a rare few to be found in a Salmon pinkish colour. No windows and solid metal wheels not plastic, I think you'll find on closer inspection. Real Types were sold in a clear plastic box with a slide off top. The box end could be cut out to create a "garage" for the model. A Club membership offer flyer and the garage conversion instruction sheet were included in the box.
Sometime in late 1960, Burslem disappeared and Hubley in Lancaster, Pennsylvania started production. Still in dark green but with windows and rubber tires on chromed hubs. Their trademark was Real Toys, but they left the Real Types mark on the baseplate, just changing Made in Canada to Made in the U.S.A.
If yours has no casting damage and full paint, I'd estimate its collector value around $25.
Others in the Real Types series included a Corvette, Thunderbird, Studebaker Hawk, Ford Fairlane, Chevrolet station wagon (shooting brake), Chev pick-up, Metro delivery van, dump truck, soda delivery truck? With a production span of less than 5 years, they are hard to find but a charming selection of the real vehicles on Canadian roads in the early Sixties.
Hope this is useful and I'd welcome seeing any further post you make.
