Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

Are you sure this is a White Lightning version ... They usually have at lest two things about them that are white.

Since the body is white thats one. Look at the base, interior, wheels and sometimes the engine.

I think the green car is the counterpart to the white lightning. The white car and the green car share the same color steering wheel too. It does have a tinted window that might be the second clue. No white base, no white wheels.

Does the interior of your car have a white or a grey color ...

Edit: I dint notice your edit ... Maybe its the white wall tires.

There are exceptions and will take your word for it.

It is a White Lightning and probably one of the best produced by Playing Mantis.
This is one of my all time favourite real cars and JL castings.
Daniel, thanks for showing the images of this fantastic casting.

If you ever do decide to part with it; do think of me.

          Cheers. Cobra

Thank you, Gerry, if I do sell it or tired of it I will let you know first. Thanks for stopping by. Oh, by the way, the paint is like a pearl white. It looks like Marshmellow Fluff.

I think the pearl sparkle white paint is a main clue, as the same on Daniel's Galaxie as this Bee, but I forget who told me that. I was bidding on this Superbee long ago and ended up paying a pretty penny because of my max bid. I had no idea it was a White Lightning.

But finding this Superbird on the pegs and thinking it was a WL, but it wasn't. Why? and WTF is going on here?

Now we come to this WL Pontiac. Again, bidding on this one, I had no idea it was a WL and neither did the seller. I've posted many times on Swifty's and will still post why I don't and never have got involved in that "CHASE CRAP HYPE" Way too confusing and paying off the hook for 6 dollar cars is crazy. Even worse if it's a 1 dollar HW TH. It ruins the general idea and fun of a great hobby when the "ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR" becomes involved. Look what it's done to TV, NASCAR, NHRA, Music and radio!!! Nothing but commercials and ads even in what used to be good magazines!!!

By the way Daniel, That Galaxie is awesome and looks like a WL to me!!!

Heck Daniel, I had to work really hard removing the racing tampos off this one. Very tedious work with allot of cussing and throwing Q~Tips, rags, and toothpicks. And then having to touch up chrome trim. I even came very close to throwing it on the ground and stomping on it...LOL

Just to get me a plain pretty white 63 Galaxie...LOL

Steve, when I was "young Stuff" I remember seeing a red coloured 1963 1/2 Galaxie XL Fastback with a 406 CID engine and four speed.
It left a lasting impression on me.
One car that I would love to own today.
I wonder what ever became of it.
And thanks for the commentary and pictures above.

                  Cheers. Cobra

                    Nice WL!

Here is one of my favorite WLs that I have in my collection. Same car but from a different series and different traits. Gold body with a white base. Click image for larger version Name:	FB_IMG_1552488406242.jpg Views:	0 Size:	35.2 KB ID:	15423

I got this one but switched out the wheels as always. Your picture looks brilliant of it Paul.
