  • Comparing the new Majorette Mercedes AMG GT R

Since the release of the new Majorette Mercedes AMG GT R i had the idea they used the Dickie Transformer casting for this one,

As i bought the AMG GT R today i compared it to the Transformer one and yes, they're the same (logical as Dickie owns Majorette)

the proof is in the pudding.

Most interesting! It has made for a nice looking offering from Majorette.

I wonder if Simba Dickie had the Majorette plant design and produce the Transformer version originally, and just had them cast the other name on it.

For shure, as Majorette's factory is in Thailand, and this model is built in Thailand.
And the bottom of the car is clearly in the style of Majorette. For the Majorette version they even did not change the ref-number.

Also the Corvette C7.R and the Western Star from the Transformer series showed up in the Majorette range. I think the Lamborghini Centenario and the Camaro had been announced too.
          But not the Mustang (jet).
