  • Some new Siku 2019 models...

BMW has a new color, Lotus Elise and Jag F are new castings...

Unfortunately newer models do only have printed rear lights due to cost saving... this Bimmer still has single plastic lights...

Me too........! I'd love to find those on the pegs like I used back in the 90's.

        Those good models.

Thanks for the update on the 2019 models! Surprised that yet another Jaguar F-Type has been modeled (after Matchbox, Welly, and Majorette). That's an observation, not a complaint!!!!

The bizarre thing about SIKU is that the models are not sold in the USA because (supposedly) the packaging does not meet some federal product safety regulation. I can't figure out what the danger is as I have acquired recent SIKU in Europe and Canada, and its just a plastic bubble that slips off the cardboard (if memory serves me correctly). If this is dangerous to someone older than three, perhaps they deserve to be injured. (OW! my eye!)

On some models they put on extra stickers on the back so that the bubble is more fixed to the card ...but maybe that might also be due to the reason that kids pull them down the pegs and tear them open and leave it then in the shops that way...

Whatever the reason, I truly wish other brands would also make the 'bubble' removable and replaceable like Siku does. For "cardboard collectors" the cards don't have to be damaged to free the vehicle, and the vehicle can be safely 're-stored' back on the undamaged card. But, I understand the possible issue with the small hands getting 'handsy' and not being able to replace the bubble in the store/on the shelf...
