I recently acquired a small lot of Norev Minijet series models, including these two nice ambulances. All were in tatty blister boxes so all are now set free.

I realize it is old news to seasoned collectors, but some trivia I find interesting is that the founder of Norev is the brother of the man who founded Majorette. Two well known French diecast makers were family. Of course, that is about where any similarity ends. Also of note, the name Norev is the founder's family name Veron backwards.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

    Thank you for your understanding.

Nice pair of ambulances, I have one of this casting, but it just has a bigger star on hood I think, and no door markings.

It always made me wonder if the brothers collaborated on which castings they each would be introducing year to year, so they didn't compete too harshly when the one brother went on his own to start Majorette.

I knew there was something a bit different about the one I have - it has a red cross label on the hood.

Rather than a bigger star likr I was thinking, I see in an old photo mine came with the red cross as well, but also came in a show box style package similar to Wes'.

It is interesting to see the different boxes that Norev has used over the years. I am pretty sure my fire engines came in the boxes like you have shared Douglas.
