Usually, I do not collect Corgis. I actually sold the few I had quite recently. Then I came across these while holidaying in France and I could not resist buying them. Why??????

Maybe your other interests include watching television?

I always wondered about that "Chevrolet Van". It never looked like a Chevy Van (the G20 / Beauville etc.) to me. I always thought it was designed as a Bedford van, and they stuck a "Chevrolet" name on the base to appeal to the American market. Maybe it just needs a Chevrolet "bow tie" logo in the grille to make it more realistic. I still have some of my Corgi Chevy vans from childhood . . . the black "Fireball" and a yellow "Hertz". My four year old nephew confiscated my orange "Golden Eagle", a favorite as a kid. The color orange and GM products were my thing growing up.

The Hertz van is one of those I sold. I feel so stupid. There is something about those Corgis. I can't quite put my finger on it, they look ... good.

Yes! Corgi, Majorette and Tomica are favorites from childhood. I often liked those more than Matchbox and Hot Wheels, maybe because they were a little more difficult to find. It unfortunate that Corgi is no longer with us. (at least as it was).
