They all appear to have seen some track time, and I'm sure some kids had a ton of fun along the way.
Is that an old Matchbox DAF car carrier transporting them?

Very well played with Mustangs. The one with no front wheel and broken A pillars is mine from 1968. Yes, it is a Matchbox transporter.

That is great you still have your childhood one, the playwear just brings up the fond memories of the fun you had then.

Played with old toy cars - especially if they are from our younger days, and often some of the best and most special pieces in our collections.

When I was a boy, I found this one, along with a yellow Monte Carlo, on abandoned railway tracks in town:

Oh no! On the railroad tracks?! Sounds like Dick Dastardly practiced on HW as a kid before using Nell! You are a right Dudley Doright (and it is only coincidence that I make this reference and that you are Canadian, so please don;t take offense)!

The cars were on the lower part of the rail, not the travelled portion. I guess Dick didn't quite get it right that time.

The Mustang was the second Hot Wheels I received. These look great. Save them - don't crush them!
