    Due to the recent budget cuts,
    the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
    current state of the economy, the light at the end
    of the tunnel has been turned off.

    didn't they issue a series of those race cars painted in primer gray?i believe they were hobby shops exclusives.

      Yep.....but you could get them just about everywhere. They are "test" cars. I bought many at KB and a local store here in St. Lou called Grandpa Pigeons (Walmart before Walmart).

      Oh and Mark Martin still is my favorite driver. Thanks for pics, I forgot about these since mine are all packed away.

        These grey test cars were neat ones to add to a collection of NASCAR - had many of these and the similar ones that Racing Champions offered. Mark Martin is still at the top of my favorite dirvers list as well.

            This is the time the templates actually fit the car. Mark Martin did well in his Thunderbird. It broke my heart when he left Ford. I think that had a lot to do with Jack Roush.
