A very nice collection you have... I have quite a few myself. I loved this casting when it first hit the pegs and bought every vary I found. I did and still do think the convertible windshields look a teeny bit tall, but a gorgeous and best casting of the 68/69 Chevelle in my opinion!!!

Here's a few very early varies from the Customs series...

My uncle had a SS 396 very much like this one. He had allot of machine work to the valves and heads. That car ran like a fox in a forest fire. It seemed to have an unlimited top end that none of us had the courage or nerve to find the limit...LOL
                  Always loved the Chevelles!!!

                  .

One really cool thing I liked about these Chevelles, is GL did a real 68 and a real 69. Two different castings.
Not just different detailing or paint to look like different years. I noticed the different molding in the tail lights and grill area right away...
Excellent job on these cars. This post inspired to get mine down and play awhile. I have four 68 varies (left) and eight 69s...

                    Great pictures, Steve.
                    Thanks for providing them.
It was really nice that you highlighted the differences of the front and rear views of the different years.
                    Well done.
I also like the large group setting.

BYW, I can't download images from Photobucket because they are holding me captive.
Have about 3,000 or more images there that I can't download unless I cough up some cash.
                    That really sucks.

                    Cheers. Cobra

Found these notes at Swifty's Garage pertaining to this specific image:

All the Chevelles and shop tools are from Greenlight.
A special thank you is expressed for making these fine items.
The black Cobra has had the Terlingua decals removed and was made by Shelby Collectibles.
The shop lift is from M2 Machines.
The human figures are from dioramas.
Some of the Chevelle castings illustrated are from Milezone (thanks Russ), Collectables Corner (thanks Jeremy),
Ralph's Customs (Green Machine red Yenko under hoist, Green Machine silver with white flames
beside hoist, and Green Machine green convertible on hoist ALL from 2010 Diecast Space Super Convention),
UTH membership club car (black convertible), blue with flames from 2009 L.V. Super Convention, and Car d'Lane.
Missing from images are the complete set of 2008 Auto Fest and Hot August Nights Chevelles which are also part of this collection.
Not enough space to show all of the Greenlight Chevelle castings.
Greenlight's 1968 and 1969 Chevelle castings are outstanding and definitely worth having in your collection.

                      Cheers. Cobra

These images were originally posted at Swifty's Garage on June 03, 2012.
Note that I did not load some other images because they are watermarked by Photobucket.
But that is another story for another place.

                        Milezone "Flames The Series" Chevelles:

The Green Machine version (either 1 of 12 or 1 of 13 depending on what you are lead to believe) and was used in this special issue.
Accompanying blister card reads 1 of 13 which I believe is correct.
I also believe that this Green Machine version may have in fact been part of the Milezone Primer Project release (Milezone exclusive)
Russ would probably know the true facts. (Note: 13 is correct number and was confirmed by Russ at Milezone)

Looking back, I am glad that I bought these castings.
