considering the rear is designed after the C2 63-67 Corvette
which is WHY the 71-73 Riviera was controversial because of that

Good old days when GM had so much money and the best engineers that it could release something so wild (by today's standards). Isn't it the packaging for this JL that indicates the rear window required the swept up line on the rear fenders to support the glass as well as aid in the manufacturing process? I really like how this example has some plain hubcaps. As much as I like the Buick mags, they seem a bit overdone. Just like the AW Estate Wagon, I'd like to see some plain hubcaps just once.

oh I should mention that the 71 Riviera had louvers on the rear by the trunk which were prone to leakage
thats why the 72 didn't have them!

THanks for posting this, JeepXJ! I spotted it in the JL cars on the peg along with a black Eldorado and the AQ '75 Buick Estate in green with wood grain. Despite curtaining my collecting, these were "must haves". As much as I like the Cadillac, I passed, and it turned out that I "Wouldn't I rather have a Buick." (or two) This Cinnamon Riviera has great hubcaps! Just a more subtle car rather than the constant use of mag wheels on each release.
