ID:	121158 One thing about being a member here, you are motivated to purchase castings that do not normally fit into your collection genre. Here is what I picked up over the last couple of days that I have no idea why Click image for larger version Name:	005 (2).JPG Views:	0 Size:	56.1 KB ID:	121154Click image for larger version Name:	001.JPG Views:	0 Size:	53.6 KB ID:	121155Click image for larger version Name:	004 (2).JPG Views:	0 Size:	42.7 KB ID:	121156Click image for larger version Name:	002.JPG Views:	0 Size:	37.1 KB ID:	121157

ID:	121167 If any body can do POLICE cars in miniature,it is GREENLIGHT. They make me pickup castings I would not otherwise collect, OK one of those is not a Chevy, but it is a Canadian replica from a great city 'Montreal', Now we need Greenlight to do some other Canadian cities like Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Halifax, Summerside! I know why you 'picked up' the ones in the lead-off post...because those are all NEW Matchbox releases. Most of us haven't seen those anywhere but here at "Swifty's" (Diecast Garage). Speaking for myself, I am envious of your having found those. I wish they would show up in stores here in Idaho...but it seems CoVid has prevented all shipments from outside the USA reaching their destinations. I have several ebay purchases that can not pass customs (or whatever entity is preventing them from being shipped in the US Postal system). Ebay did make an "adjustment" to the "estimated delivery" dates on most of them (now that 'estimated' date is June 2...so on Tuesday we'll see if I start getting something in the mail again other than domestic junk mail), but at the same time seems to be assuming I've received some (that I have not yet received) simply because their original "estimated delivery" date is now in the past.

Nice finds! Like b2young I'm envious of the new MB; I stopped by my local Walmart yesterday and nothing new there. Fingers crossed us on the west coast will see those models soon.
I'm also impartial to those Greenlight police cars as well. It would definitely be a treat to see more Canadian police cars - Greenlight did a Windsor model a few releases back so that's a good one to hunt down (especially since it's for that department's 150th anniversary). There are a few in larger (1/24 and 1/43 scale), but one of my grails is a 1/43 Vancouver Police Department Charger which apparently is really hard to find.

I know the whole postal system is basically strained now. The Canadian system is around three months behind, so I'd imagine it's worse for the American one because of the higher volume of mail that's being moved. It's like Christmas, but worse since this pandemic has lasted for a few months now.

Nice additions - yes - that newest issue of the Ford Police Utility is on the want list and maybe the little radar trailer. As an emergency vehicle collector I am always glad to see new police cars available. GreenLight does a super job with the police cars. James - I have been one of those who has pestered GL for years to add more Canadian cars to the lineup. I know some if might be due to licensing but a little frustrating when they add a VW Beetle for Norwegian police or the upcoming Rabbit in German Polizie markings - while I will add both of those I would so love to see them do some RCMP cars as well as cities.

For a pure generic the radar trailer is well done with lots of lettering and tampo hits. Futuristic city bus is cool.

I was hoping to pick up another MB ford police wagon today, so I could have an unopened one, but they were all gone. Instead I bought the mustang '18 mustang convertible to console myself with.
I really like that dualcab ute police vehicle. I guess you guys would call it a pick truck.
