This & screwing up the model I packed away as a "live & learn" project drained me today. Hoping I can at least stay comfortable in bed tonight.
Sorry to hear of this new health issue for you Chris. I started 2020 out with Shingles - no fun. Hope you get some answers and some meds that will keep you comfortable.

Thanks. I guess I'm reaping what I've sown from years of energy drink and adult beverage abuse, as well as other things the forum doesn't get into for the sake of "family friendliness" and hosting reasons.

the 18" on the bottom.this is from earlier when i stuck it in and left it.

the 15" on top at 11pm cst.that roughly works out to about 22 1/2 " of fresh snow.

to show that there is a 2nd ruler.

they say by tomorrow there will be up to another 6 to 8 inches on the ground.

Hope the doctors visit went well for you today Chris, and hope you'll get the treatment needed and be well soon.

If only that cold white stuff had some sort of monetary value, people would be paying you to shovel up your snow, and take it all away.

            • the only monetary value that snow has is the money paid to guys to shovel the sidewalks and plow the parking lots.

Thanks! It went well. I had acne turn into a horrific case of cellulitis (am SO relieved it wasn't simplex or shingles), am sitting on a heating pad now, on antibiotics and watching Forensic Files on YouTube from bed.

                    • Woke up early this morning, about 5:30, got up, but that was too early for me, so decided I needed to sleep for another hour or so, laid back down hoping I'd sleep for a little bit longer, and konked right out.......Then awhile later I woke up, but you know how when you first open your eyes after you've slept too long, before you even turn to look at the clock, you just know it's late, maybe it's the amount of daylight in the room, but when I looked over and saw it after 8, I jumped right up wide awake, but of course I knew I had nothing pressing at work today, so just took it easy, and followed my regular morning routine.....Can't remember sleeping that late in many years, probably only if I was very sick whenever it was, but I felt fine today.

Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the

Good to hear! Yogurt...any time a person is on anti-biotics it is a good idea to replenish by eating good quality yogurt.
The image file limits have been reset. Upper limits now are 100,000 when we have some images that exceed 5,000,000. I've set the pixels for no more than 1000 across the longest side, so if you resize to that all should be well. (The limits are larger than what I typically use, and my images turn out just fine, so I know it shouldn't be a problem)

                            Thank you for your understanding.

Before I retired I was working 1900 to 0700 shifts. My God the first year I was retired I finally caught up on sleep. I feel better and even look better. Now, most nights I go to bed between 2130 to 2200 hours and wake up at anywhere between 0600 to 0700 hours wow it feels so good. Now I do take those sleeping gummies at night because I get insomnia sometimes. Maybe from working that graveyard shift for so many years. For years I would only get about five hours a day. My body likes to sleep about eight to nine hours. LOL.
