  • Jedi,,from the very beginning i never even considered joining those groups.
while they do serve a good purpose of keeping families connected to members in different places.the problem is that any fool can get on there and spew out what ever silly false thoughts in their empty head on to the internet.

I did so Friday. Also, stop shopping with Amazon (not something I had to do as I never did).
World leaders have taken notice the actions of these companies
and consider it threatening to the security of their nations.

      • Don't even know what those groups do...Really, I don't even know what people do at those places, outside of years ago when different family members would invite me to join to keep in touch with what's going on in the family, I hadn't considered joining, and never did.

Now amazon I have gotten a couple things from over the years, back a number of years ago there was a Matchbox model only available through amazon I ordered, then this past summer I ordered a truck part from them, but that device my boss actually ordered for me on his prime account to get free shipping, and I just paid him, but I never had an account with them.

They, among other big tech giants, are actively coordinating and banning any ideology
that conflicts with their desired narrative, including the commander in chief of the USA.

Turns out that this is the smallest problem with social media. There are much bigger issues than that.

Oh yes, I knew of them doing that in recent years...My friend would tell me about things she would post on whatever group it was, one of those mentioned, she'd write about covid, kind of in line to thoughts shared here above, even as valid points, they would still remove her post, and give her crap about health issues or something, but other people could share opposing opinions, and not ever be censored.

              • Quickly Politicians and Americans forget all the protests that caused death and looting over the last year. You will not hear that it's not politically correct.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

Thankfully, those companies have "Fact Checkers" which will notify everybody
who is guilty of wrong think. That way we can all be safe without any hurt feelings.

I will never forget. The poor guy never had a chance since he took office.

Don't give up on him yet. I heard him and the Secretary Of State say there will be a peaceful transition but they don't say to whom. Maybe to the people?

                          Just a thought.

Modern day book-burning. Everyone is moving to one called Gab which is said to not censor content. Gab got over a million subscribers yesterday. Meanwhile Twitter has lost $5 billion.

                            • I'm not convinced social media can be done right at this point. Although I appreciate some of the newer ones' dedication to free speech, I think we'd be better off without it.
