    Anyone know what brand this is? To me, it looks like playart(from the wheels) but I don't know.

    That's Universal.
    Some variation says FORD on the base.

            That's what i've come to understand.
            It's interesting how they misspelled the brand wrong in two castings. In Monteverdi Hai it's spelled WHELLER.

              Yes. Wheeler seems to be a part of the Universal group. It may have become the "W" cars.
