    Thanks for the reply Daniel.

The pig turds were rolled from RODICO, which is a cleaning product left over from when I was a watchmaker. But it's very similar to Blu-Tac, or mounting adhesive used to hang posters on walls and such.

I coloured them with a brown Sharpie.

As it is non-marking, I use tiny blobs of the same stuff to stick under the wheels of cars during outdoor shoots, to stop them rolling off the table. It is also useful for holding awkward pigs in place!

I think you are right guy64!

That's definitely a grimace - maybe he's drawn them up into his groin to keep them warm?

Or maybe he's just grimacing at the gray plastic wheels that HW put on his otherwise immaculate Countach?

Need to re-print my Jay cutout figure - he looking a bit grainy and washed out.

I agree Lane1through75 - so often the wheels are a letdown on the HW Car Culture series. Many times I've put an otherwise immaculate model back on the peg because it has ridiculous white plastic wheels, or similar.

With the 2 Leno cars, the chrome rims on the 300SL look pretty good in my humble opinion, but the gray Minilites on the Countach are way off.

The other Countach is a Tomica Premium, so probably around 12 bucks back when I got it a few years ago. No where near the 80 dollar TLV version, but still a really nice model.

I thought it was just being an old person, we start losing our color and sharpness our face and body begin to start hanging then we start having part failures and lose our memory and then blame others for our mistakes even though it's called senior moments.
Due to the recent budget cuts,
the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, plus the
current state of the economy, the light at the end
of the tunnel has been turned off.

Thanks for the correction. I was looking at the photo on my phone screen and assumed it was the $$$$ TLV but should have noticed the doors were closed (and not ill-fitting).

                        Hats, keys, glasses, wallet.

How about this one – you go grab a beer out the fridge, open it and take a gulp, put it down and walk away…then forget where you put it down.

So you go to the fridge and grab another and open it. Then you find the first one and pick it up.

Then, wouldn’t you know it, your wife comes into the kitchen and sees you holding 2 beers and looking confused.

She does not find this funny. She instead finds it “worrying” and “concerning” and even “sad”.

                        • Great to see the pig ride his hog and it makes me reflect on some of my best days: riding my Yamaha Mini-enduro 60 with the polished head and big sprocket in the back. Still, before that, the embarrassing QA-50 even the lawnmower mini-bikes would walk on me and it had that horrible automatic high gear that would skip like it had no ............ never mind.

Thanks for the memory and the photos Daniel – I bet that was fun!!

Even though motorcycling runs in our family, I never did get my road license – which is probably a good thing.

But I always loved old British bikes, and back in the UK I had an early 60’s Ariel Arrow that I was going to rebuild. 250cc 2-stroke hanging off a pressed steel backbone frame. Petrol tank under the seat, dummy gas tank. Not sure if it was an “advanced” design, or just weird.

Anyway, in the end I sold it on to raise cash for a wedding ring… you know how it goes. Though happily that turned into the best investment I ever made!

If I had finished the rebuild, it would have looked something like this, but probably still slower than your Yamaha, Daniel!

No the Yamaha went 48 mph but Daddy had the sprocket changed out to slow me down but it could climb a tree in first and second.
