Just saw your message. You can use any new wheel as long as it fits the area between the base where the axle comes out and the side of the body is. You may have to do one or more of the folllowing to get them to fit:

Trim the base axle areas to allow a wider tire.
If it's a plastic wheel, like a HW mainline, you can trim the inside of the tire
